Do you ever feel like you’re not using your phone to the fullest? When you’re done reading the latest blog post from your community of apartments on East Oltorf, you’ll know which apps to download to take advantage of your phone’s capabilities. New apps get introduced to the App Store every day, so you’re liable to miss some cool ones if you’re not staying up to date with new releases. No one can be expected to stay informed about every new app, so the staff at Ellie Apartments has put together a list of new apps that we think are worth checking out.
In the list below, you’ll find apps that will help you be more productive, apps that will help you relax, and apps that will keep you busy. We hope these apps become fixtures on your home screen, and that these apps make your life easier, one tap at a time. Without further delay, let’s dive into this week’s blog! When you’re done reading this post, please be sure to share the link with your friends and neighbors at your community of apartments on East Riverside.
One of the keys to mental health is simply paying attention to your emotions on a day to day basis. Daylio will help you do that by asking a simple question, “how was your day?” The app will pop up with that notification at the end of every day, and you can respond with a simple smiley face to indicate whether your day was, “Rad, Good, Meh, Bad, or Awful.” If you use the app every day, after a month or so you’ll have a good track record of how you’ve been feeling.
The app is literally called “Productive” so you kind of have to give it a shot. This app helps people be more productive by tracking and encouraging the development of strong habits. It’s one thing to try to do something every day, but when you have an app tracking you and holding you responsible for your habit, you’ll be more likely to repeat that app day after day. They say it takes at least 2 weeks to develop a habit, so be sure to give this app a shot for at least 2 weeks before you delete it.
Whether you’re feeling anxious, restless, or you’re simply having trouble sleeping, meditation can probably help with that. All it takes is a few minutes every day to achieve pretty phenomenal results, but it’s hard to remember to take those few minutes. By downloading a meditation app like Calm, you can help yourself remember to take those moments for yourself and focus on your mind on something peace. Give it a shot, folks!
Those are all the apps we’ve got to talk about this week, residents! As always, we appreciate those of you that have taken some time out of your busy schedules to read the latest blog post from Ellie Apartments, and we hope you find that the apps in this list help you boost productivity and reduce stress!
